SIMMTECH has established a dedicated ESG organization to define ESG key issues to set up and implement ESG strategies, also operates company-wide ESG management system in which related teams can co-work efficiently. Double Materiality Assessment

Overall

SIMMTECH annually conducts double materiality assessment to identify the company's key sustainability issues and establish appropriate strategies. As the first procedure of the assessment, the responsible team complies the current status of ESG management to organize an issue pool. Then the team analyzes the materiality of each issue in a business perspective and also assesses the materiality in an impact perspective through stakeholder surveys. Detailed strategies are establised and managed for those selected key issues.

Effect

As greenhouse gas is a global environmental issue related to climate change and biodiversity, many governments have tightened regulations and relavant requirements have been increasing in the market. Through GHG reduction, we will contribute to the environment, increase the value of the company and further strengthen trust with our customers.

Strategy

SIMMTECH has establised a team dedicated to GHG and energy matters through which we keep monitoring greenhouse gas emissions and energy use. While monitoring those data, various efforts are conducted to reduce GHG such as company-wide energy saving activitie, gradual adoption of renewable energy and reviewing and implementing investments related to the reduction.
ESG financial risk monitoring

To prepare for potential ESG financial risks that may arise from stakeholders requirement, Simmtech conducts annual monitoring on those risks. We plan to keep establishing strategies to prepare for the potential risks derived from the process and carry out continuous monitoring on them.
